How much will it cost?

Currently ME Occupational Therapy is working under the guidelines from the NDIS billing amounts. This rate set by the NDIS is $193.99 per hour. Please note that some items that are non-contact are also billable. For more detail please contact ME Occupational Therapy.

Have you had experience working with adults with disabilities?

I have been working as an Occupational Therapist for over 25 years and in the ACT for the last 20 years. During this time, I have worked with a range of people with different disabilities in the area of equipment prescription. I have prescribed many pieces of equipment for clients including manual and powered wheelchairs, mobile shower commode chairs, hi-low beds, pressure relieving mattresses.

Where will you see the client?

I can complete home visits, worksite visits, school visits and also site visits to the places that the prescribed equipment will be used.

Why do you use a service agreement?

A Service Agreement is an important document that is used to discuss the assessment and intervention process. The service agreement outlines expectations for both the client and the therapist, as well as billing cycle and expectations, goals for the intervention and process of obtaining the new equipment.

This allows the client to clarify any questions they have before commencing their service with ME Occupational Therapy.

Do you see children?

ME Occupational Therapy is focused on adult equipment needs and is taking adult (post-school) referrals only. This is to keep the caseload at a manageable level as well as keeping relevant skills up to date.
